Hello, my name is Fred Schmits and I am the owner of Mobile Lube.

First let me tell you a little about me. I was born and raised in Southern Indiana, went to school at Ball State University, recruited by Marathon Oil Company and moved to Findlay in 1988. I am married and am the proud father of two young children. Needless to say I’m very busy and there never seems to be enough hours in the day. Recently, I decided to leave Marathon Oil after 18 years, and start my own business. Granted, it was where I met my wife and have many good memories, but the corporate culture and I had changed. I’m a little more free spirited than what was expected.

So while I was deciding on what to do next in my life, I actually was talking with a guy about another business opportunity. We started talking about other ideas and vehicle maintenance came up. Well the thought stuck and I kept asking God “is this what you want me to do?” The only answer was Mobile Lube and nothing else. So that’s why I started Mobile Lube. I’ve always found it hard to remember to get my oil changed for my two cars. When I did remember to schedule it, I had to remember to do it when my wife didn’t need one of the vehicles. I have the appropriate insurance, developed my logo and business plan, started my advertising – the web site, vehicle signs and my feet & mouth. I plan to offer the most convenient mobile lube service to Northwest Ohio area.

Since December 2006, our business been real rewarding and a joy. I continue to contact, schools, corporations, a variety of businesses and my fellow associates to let them know about my services. I am positive you will benefit from my oil service, saving time and money by becoming one of my customers. Plus I know after you have my service done you will share it with others.
